Assistant Management Accountant

We are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing team on the outskirts of Dover. This role requires strong accounting knowledge and an ability to support financial operations effectively.

Description

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Support the reconciliation of accounts, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with payroll processing and related queries.
Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within the Transport & Distribution industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A professional accounting qualification or working towards one (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA).Job Offer
