Under the general supervision of the Recreation Director, to manage the recreation programs.
Essential Functions- Administers a wide variety of recreation processes (e.g. registering participants, collecting fees, creating schedules, acquiring and supervising coaches, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring development and execution of all desired recreation programs for the District.
- Assists development of Youth Recreation Programs (e.g. participating in development of after school programs, summer camps, out- of-school day activities, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring availability of year-round youth recreation programs.
- Collaborates with others (e.g. other district personnel, community organizations, etc.) for the purpose of implementing and maintaining services and programs.
- Coordinates parent and participant meetings (e.g. distributing and completing participation forms, collecting fees, identifying activity locations, etc.) for the purpose of communicating and implementing all participation procedures.
- Develops budget recommendations and guidelines (e.g. staffing, equipment, supplies, facilities' costs, etc.) for the purpose of making recommendations for annual recreation program budget.
