Location:
Douglas Campus is located at 100 West College Park Drive, Douglas, GA 31533. Waycross Campus is located at 2001 S. Georgia Pkwy, Waycross, GA 31503. Valdosta Entry Program is located at 1500 N. Patterson Street, Valdosta, GA 31698.
South Georgia State College is seeking applications for part-time faculty to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) program. Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate success in service to the College, academic achievement, professional growth and development, and course assessment. Teaching assignments may be assigned to any SGSC campus, off‑campus, day, evenings, week‑ends, or online.
Responsibilities- Meet in-person for each class as scheduled at the designated time and place and for the designated length of time.
- At the beginning of each course, provide each student with a syllabus per the guidelines in the faculty handbook.
- Stay current in the teaching discipline(s) and the pedagogy of that discipline.
- Submit correct proof rosters and grades in Banner by the assigned deadlines; record daily attendance according to institutional policy; maintain adequate records of student progress including posting mid‑term grades in Banner.
- Submit assessment data to the Assessment Coordinator at the end of each semester by the required deadline.
- Be available to meet with students outside of class.
- Be available for part‑time faculty/supervision meetings.
- May require travel to all SGSC campuses and sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements: Completion of a Master’s Degree, plus 18 graduate semester hours in Business.
Required Experience: Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.
Preferred QualificationsPreferred Education: Doctorate Degree in the field of Business, Leadership, Management, Organizational Management/Behavior, etc.
Preferred Experience: Three years teaching experience.
Technology skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and demonstrating eligibility for employment with South Georgia State College.
