South Georgia State College is seeking applications for part-time faculty to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) program. Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate success in some or all of these areas: service to the College, academic achievement, professional growth and development, and course assessment. Teaching assignments may be assigned to any SGSC campus, off-campus, day, evenings, week-ends, or on-line.

• Meet in-person for each class as scheduled at the designated time and place and for the designated length of time.
• At the beginning of each course, provide each student with a syllabus per the guidelines in the faculty handbook.
• Stay current in the teaching discipline(s) and the pedagogy of that discipline.
• Submit correct proof rosters and grades in Banner by the assigned deadlines. Record daily attendance according to institutional policy. Maintain adequate records of student progress including posting mid-term grades in Banner.
• Submit assessment data to the Assessment Coordinator at the end of each semester by the required deadline.
• Be available to meet with students outside of class.
• Be available for part-time faculty/supervision meetings.
• May require travel to all SGSC campuses and sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The completion of a Master's Degree, plus 18 graduate semester hours in Business.

Demonstrated excellence in teaching is essential.

Technology skills and good interpersonal skills are required.

A Doctorate Degree in the field of Business, Leadership, Management, Organizational Management/Behavior, etc.

Three years teaching experience.
