- Edge of Care & Transitions Services – Isle of Man
- £27,693, rising to £28,254 upon completion of probation and rising incrementally to £29,380 based on performance.
- 40 hours per week – Shift work including weekends and bank holidays
- Overtime and Bank Holidays paid time and half

About the RoleYou will play an active role in supporting young people (aged 9 - 16 years of age) and their families in the community to overcome barriers which may be impacting on young people’s health, social, emotional and educational needs in order to improve outcomes whilst remaining in their family setting. You will also support young people staying in our short breaks residential home to provide day to day care whilst they transition back to their family home or onto a more permanent residential placement.
This is an especially exciting opportunity to join a developing therapeutic service embedded within children’s social care.
AMBIT (Adolescent Mentalisation-Based Integrative Treatment) is a systematic approach which applies the principle of mentalisation to relationships with clients, the team around the child and all inter agency working. You will receive additional training to equip you with all the tools you will need to work withing the AMBIT service.
Applicants should have- Resilience to copy with challenging behaviour & circumstances
- Ability to build genuine & trusting relationships with young people
- Ability to understand the importance of professional boundaries
- Flexibility to undertake shift work, including weekends, bank holidays & with notice, occasional sleep-ins
- Hold a valid driving licence
- Willingness to commute to different locations within the isle of Man
- £27,693, rising to £28,254 upon completion of probation and rising incrementally to £29,380 based on performance
- Relocation package of up to £3,000
