Classification Temporary Minimum  Pay $19.81
* Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
*** JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
** The Lab Assistant assists faculty and lab assistant with classroom/lab setups.
** ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
*** Assist faculty and lab assistant with classroom/lab setups.
* When need, contact suppliers and order class supplies and materials per instructor requests
* Assist Lab Assistant on any essentials job duties that is needed to prepare instructional lab.
* Assist faculty and students in evening classes for parts, materials, supplies.
* Cleans equipment and shop area and maintains a safe environment throughout show area.
** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
*** Organizational skills and attention to detail
* Manages cash sales and maintains accurate records of all transactions.
* Knowledge of Automotive Collision Repair sufficient to perform essential functions of position.
* Ability to communicate with faculty members, students, and/or customers in a courteous professional manner.
* Knowledge of and ability to use college-supported computer software.
** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

*** High School Diploma/GED plus one (1) year of documented work experience.
* Valid driver’s license necessary for routine collection and delivery of parts, supplies and materials
