Dock Worker​/Forklift Operator, Part-Time

Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers to transport a wide variety of cargo, moving freight, operating a forklift or pallet jack, and completing all required paperwork efficiently and safely.

• Effectively operate mobile technology on the dock.
• Load and unload trailers for cargo transport.
• Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location.
• Participate in the Preventive Maintenance Program for all ABF equipment.
• Move cargo, drive a forklift, or use pallet jack or other freight handling equipment.
• Prepare wide varieties of freight for transit.
• Complete all required paperwork.

• Casual position; must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and on an as-needed basis.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Have a stable work record and good safety record.
• Be able to pass pre‑employment drug screen and post‑offer company physical.
• Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends. Ability to work the required hours is a minimum requirement.

• Schedule may vary depending on Service Center location.
• Minimal (0%-25%) workload.
• This is an hourly position paid weekly.
