* ** Pay Rate:** $18.00-$21.00 per hour
** Overview*
* The Field Service Technician II provides on-site technical support to external customers, ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of automated equipment. This role supports day-to-day service activities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
** Responsibilities*
* + Provide on-site troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance for automated machines and equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
+ Diagnose electro-mechanical issues and perform corrective actions to restore equipment functionality.
+ Adjust machine settings and configurations to meet operational specifications and service requirements.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to properly position, secure, and service equipment.
+ Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete service tasks safely and efficiently.
+ Communicate clearly with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders regarding service activities and equipment status.
+ Maintain accurate service documentation and adhere to quality and safety standards.
+ Manage multiple service tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
** Basic Qualifications*
* + Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanics, or a related field.
+ 3-5 years of experience in a related field service or technical support role.
+ Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting background.
+ Experience working with a wide range of tools and diagnostic equipment.
+ Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control components of automation systems.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers, team members, and leadership.
+ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a client-driven environment.
