Vascular Therapies Consultant – Mobile, Boston Scientific
Location:
US‑FL‑Pensacola/Panama City
- Sells products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives assigned by the company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
- Develops and implements sales strategies by determining relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products.
- Develops action plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing sales figures and reports, identifying account needs, and discussing issues with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Determines the product, pricing, and goals of specific customers by meeting with physicians and other hospital personnel.
- Observes procedures in the lab and operating room of hospital accounts to gain insight into physician nuances.
- Establishes pricing packages by working with relevant BSC personnel to set price points that meet customers' needs while satisfying company guidelines.
- Responds to customer needs and complaints, developing solutions through collaboration with related personnel.
- Develops relationships with hospital personnel to make new contacts in other departments and identify key purchasing decision makers.
- Manages clinicals throughout cases and across different territories.
- Educates customers on proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations to secure purchasing commitments.
- Minimum of 2 years previous medical device sales experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or a combination of sales experience and relevant educational background.
- A four‑year degree with a background in sales and a proven track record of success.
- Strong clinical, analytical and selling skills.
- Proven ability to manage a large number of accounts.
- Problem‑solving skills and the ability to be coached and directed, allowing collaboration and success in selling the venous and arterial portfolio.
The anticipated annualized base amount for this full‑time position will be $90,000 to $130,000
, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan.
