Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
Position Purpose
Associates in Store Support positions are responsible for a variety of non-sales functions. This may include ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required for these positions. They must work cooperatively with other Associates, vendors, and carriers, and be productive with little or some supervision.
They should be detail-oriented, have proven time management skills, demonstrate a high level of integrity at all times, respond to operational concerns of all associates, and remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
- Provide non-sales support to ensure customer order fulfillment and storefront operations
- Assist customers in the store or on the lot and address product order status inquiries
- Interact with customers or vendors as needed and follow program compliance requirements
- Coordinate with other Associates, vendors, and carriers to support store objectives
- Manage cash handling or administrative tasks as required
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with little or some supervision
- Demonstrates integrity and customer service focus
- Effective communication and collaboration with team members and vendors
