The Toasted Yolk Café is the fastest growing breakfast and brunch concept in Texas and is now opening in Dothan, Alabama. The Toasted Yolk Café is a full-service neighborhood eatery featuring reimagined interpretations of traditional breakfast and lunch classics. The restaurant is dedicated to serving dishes made with only the highest-quality ingredients and served in a vibrant and comfortable atmosphere. The menus offered are tailored to meals enjoyed throughout the day, allowing diners to enjoy egg specialties and coffee in the morning, refreshing cocktails and savory pancakes at brunch, and a variety of delicious salads, sandwiches and soups at lunch.

Host — 15-25 hours a week. Hours are 7 am till 3 pm. This position operates on a single shift with no dinners. You’re typically off by 4 pm to spend time with your family in the evenings and on weekends. Must be able to work in a very busy, fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere and stand for up to 10 hours. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
Must be 21 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. There is lots of room for growth and advancement.
- Refers to Daily Schedule for shift responsibilities.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to Waitstaff.
- At beginning of shift, perform walk-through inspection of the dining room to ensure areas are correctly set up for service.
- Prepare Floor Map and Waiter/Waitress listing and obtain approval from Management before posting. Direct Waitstaff to preview the Floor Map & Waiter/Waitress Listing for station assignment, pre-shift prep assignments and post-shift clean-up assignments.
- During game time, continually travel through the dining room to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Assist with the transition to the mid-shift and re-assign stations as needed to cover dining room during break periods.
- Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner. Fulfill guest needs and assist with special requests. Check frequently with tables to ensure excellence in food and service.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints properly and in a calm, professional manner using the LAST (Listen, Apologize, Solve, and Thank) approach.
- Ensure guests have a great dining experience by following the GOLDEN Rules of service:
Greet, Offer, Leave a great impression, Deliver hot and delicious food, Ensure cleanliness, Never leave a guest unhappy. - Communicate with Management on guest comments or complaints.
- Ensure routine bathroom cleaning procedures are performed every 30 minutes.
- Monitor and ensure Waitstaff compliance with company procedures and guidelines.
- Monitor shift close-out by Waitstaff and check all server stations using the close-out checklist.
- Effectively communicate product, equipment, or operational issues to Management in a timely manner.
- Washes hands frequently and assist Management to ensure efficient operation of the cafe.
- Follow Daily Departmental Closing Procedures and check with Management before leaving.
