What It Takes:

• Schooling: High school diploma or GED required; degree in Quality, Food Science, or related field preferred.
• Background: 1+ year of experience in quality assurance or food/beverage manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety principles a plus.
• Sharp Eyes: You notice what others overlook. Proficient with basic computer systems for data entry and reporting. Effective communicator and team player with a commitment to quality and safety.
• Physical Ability: Stay on your feet, handle materials safely, and keep pace with the crew.
• Team Mentality: Reliable, steady, and proud to be part of a crew that values doing things right.

What You'll Do:

Each day, you'll be performing quality inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with GMP and food safety standards. Other responsibilities include collecting, documenting, and analyzing samples while also maintaining accurate test records and calibration logs. You'll identify and communicate quality issues, assisting with investigations and corrective actions, monitor production lines for adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, HACCP), support internal audits, third-party inspections, and continuous improvement efforts, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
