Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Alabama

Start Date: March 30, 2026
Location: Dothan, Alabama
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible 3x12 or 4x12 schedule based on your preference; self-scheduling with every other weekend required

Highlights:

• Level II Trauma facility with a 32-bed critical care unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2, providing optimal care delivery
• Self-scheduling model offers excellent work-life balance
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• 16 hours of orientation to ensure successful onboarding

Requirements:

• Active Alabama RN license or compact license at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (1 year may be considered for busy ICU backgrounds)
• Ventilator management experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, arterial lines, central lines, vasoactive drips, and critical care equipment
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted for COVID-19)
• Travel nursing experience preferred, though highly experienced candidates will be considered
