Registered Nurse; RN NIGHTS

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to psychiatric patients (children and adolescents) utilizing the established nursing process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Documentation
• Providing nursing groups
• Following program guidelines
• Medication administration
• Providing a safe and therapeutic environment, intervening with disturbed patients, admissions and discharges
• Using restraint techniques when necessary.

• At least 21 years of age
• Graduate from an accredited RN school of nursing
• Diploma graduate and/or an associate degree in nursing required
• Current status as a registered nurse in the State of Alabama
