Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care to inpatients. This position assesses patients and creates an individualized plan of care that reflects each patient s needs and goals. The RN supervises activities of care, treatment, and services provided by LPN/LVNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff on the assigned unit and shift. This role communicates information with the interdisciplinary team and reports patient concerns and changes in condition to the supervisor and/or physician in a timely manner.
Basepay and schedule
Base pay range: $29.00/hr - $29.00/hr
- Full-time, Day Shift (7:00 am – 7:00 pm)
- Full-time, Night Shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)
- Walk-in Weekday Interviews are held every Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm each day, no appointment needed.
- Provide direct patient care to inpatients and develop an individualized care plan.
- Supervise care, treatment, and services of patients provided by LPN/LVNs, RNTs/CNAs, and other staff on the unit.
- Communicate with the interdisciplinary team and timely report patient concerns and changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician.
- Current RN licensure appropriate to state regulations.
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
- CRRN certification preferred.
- General office equipment (computer/laptop, telephone, copier/fax machine, calculator, scanner).
- Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Visual acuity, speech recognition, and speech clarity.
- Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds, including medical supplies and equipment, and transferring/repositioning patients. Reasonable assistance available as needed.
- Oral and written communication, active listening; must speak and understand English.
- Information ordering, deductive reasoning, social perceptiveness, time management, critical thinking.
- Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.
- Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
- Indoor, temperature-controlled, smoke-free environment.
- Handicapped accessible.
- May work under stressful circumstances at times.
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance and punctuality.
- Adheres to dress code including wearing .
- Adheres to Standards of Business Conduct.
- May be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and/or night shifts to meet deadlines.
- May be required to work on religious and/or legal holidays on scheduled days/shifts.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
