Floor Associate - 1st Shift

Primary Function

Primarily responsible for maintaining a clean work area around their assigned line. Wash floor and line during breaks. Must always use and maintain personal protective equipment, and work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

PAY: $17.75/hour

WORK SCHEDULE: 7:31AM - 4:25 PM

BENEFITS: Available first day of hire

• Maintain a clean work area around their assigned line.
• Wash floor and line during breaks.
• Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management
• Must be able to follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.

• Previous poultry experience preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math functions and skills.
• Poultry experience preferred but not required.
• Basic Chemical understanding.

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety requirements
• Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• PPE required but subject to change:
  Hairnet, beard net, shoe covers, smock, earplugs

• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)
• Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift
• Will be exposed to noise (>85 decibels) and moving production
