Lead Practice Manager at High Five Healthcare

The Lead Practice Manager leads the daily operations of the practice. This role is responsible for overseeing operational efficiency, financial performance, team leadership, and referral relationship management. The Practice Manager fosters a collaborative team environment while driving results.

Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership to build a positive, supportive, and motivated team culture.

  • Coordinate regular team meetings/huddles and team events.
  • Train and coach team members with support from the Regional Director and HR Team.
  • Consult with the HR Team on functions including hiring new team members, discipline, performance reviews, and terminating team members.
Oversee All Practice Operations, Including, But Not Limited To
  • Develop staffing schedules that align with practice needs and patient demand.
  • Possess expert level knowledge of the Practice Management System.
  • Assist in developing the annual budget.
  • Approve invoices for payment.
  • Assist the Credentialing Team in obtaining doctor signatures and documentation, as needed.
  • Assist the Revenue Cycle Team to ensure maximized reimbursement is achieved.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and in proper working order.
  • Ensure excellence in patient, referral, team member, and doctor satisfaction.
  • Disseminate and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Implementation of best practice initiatives.
  • Manage and oversee the referral relationships. Promote the practice's doctor(s) and brand.
  • Responsible for practice inventory; working with the Procurement Team as needed, ordering supplies, and managing inventory.
  • Attend scheduled practice manager meetings.
  • Maintain physical appearance and organization of the practice.
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment by designated team members.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of dental experience/knowledge; or combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of practice management experience is preferred.
  • Healthcare practice management experience required, Dental experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Power Point) is required.
  • Practice Management Software experience (ex. Endo Vision, WinOMS, DSN, Care Stack).
  • Ability to problem solve and develop solutions for practice goals and efficiencies.
  • Team player who thrives in a busy, fast paced, and ever-growing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented, accurate, and reliable.
