Job Title:

Custodian / Janitorial Technician

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Environment: Warehouse/industrial setting (not temperature controlled)

We are seeking a reliable and self‑motivated Custodian/Janitorial Technician to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in a workspace, warehouse, or similar facility. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.

• Clean and maintain floors, including shampooing carpets and rugs and cleaning wood, linoleum, tile, and other surfaces
• Wax and buff floors as needed
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and properly dispose of waste
• Dust and clean all surfaces throughout the facility
• Wash interior and exterior windows
• Change air filters and clean vents
• Operate janitorial equipment such as commercial vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
• Order cleaning supplies as needed and maintain an accurate inventory
• Follow established cleaning schedules and safety procedures

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and proper usage
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing over 50 pounds
• Physical strength and stamina to perform routine custodial duties
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
