Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Medical-Surgical
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Seeking a skilled Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its Medical-Surgical team for a 13-week night shift assignment. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated LPN with strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver safe, effective nursing care to medical-surgical patients under the supervision of an RN
Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document patient progress
Start and manage IV therapy per certification and protocol
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes and excellent patient experiences
Support patient hygiene, mobility, and discharge readiness
Document all care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Comply with policies, procedures, and infection control standards
Requirements:Licensure/Certification s (All Required for Submission):
Active and unrestricted LPN license (state-specific or compact)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required
IV Certification – Required
Permanent Home Address: Must be located 50+ miles from facility
Experience: Previous experience in Medical-Surgical or acute care setting preferred
