Emergency Medicine Physician

Quick job details: Hospital located in Dothan, AL is seeking a Physician for our Emergency Medicine Program.

• Setting:
  Level II Trauma Center. 28-bed ED, with specialized treatment rooms for major trauma & resuscitation. High acuity. There is a fast track staffed with mid-level providers, zone model.
• Schedule:
  
  14 shifts per month, There is also a dedicated Nocturnist schedule option.
• Hours:
  
  These 9-10 hour shifts, plus possible evening/night shifts (for nocturnist schedule).
• Patient Volume:
  Annual ED visits are ≈
  60,000
  . That averages to 150-200 patients/day
• Job Requirements:
  
  Must be residency trained in EM, board-certified or board-eligible (ABEM or AOBEM). Licensure (able to obtain / maintain licensure in Alabama). Ability to work in a high acuity trauma center, collaborate with APPs, RNs, work in zones, possibly teach / supervise.
• Compensation:
  Competitive with bonus potential.
