Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in bid management, preferably within the transportation or technology industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market intelligence to inform bid strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and professional proposals.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bid management software (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Salesforce).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of procurement processes and regulations within the transportation industry is a plus.
- Lead the end-to-end bid management process, including bid qualification, strategy development, proposal preparation, and submission.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify bid opportunities and understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling and competitive proposals that address customer needs and showcase the company's unique value proposition.
- Prepare all necessary bid documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and internal teams, to facilitate effective bid management and enhance business opportunities.
- Support contract negotiation efforts, working closely with the legal and sales teams to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Evaluate bid outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the bid management process.
