About The Role
We are looking for a reliable and organized Scheduler / Office Coordinator to join our home care office. This role sits at the center of communication between caregivers, clients, and our office team, helping ensure our clients receive consistent care and our schedules run smoothly. You’ll be coordinating schedules, managing changes, and keeping communication clear across the team. Previous scheduling experience is helpful, but not required.
We will train someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable learning new systems.
- Create and manage weekly caregiver schedules
- Handle schedule changes and caregiver callouts
- Communicate schedule updates with caregivers and clients
- Ensure client shifts remain covered
- Maintain scheduling records in our software
Because we are a small office, this role may also include:
- Answering office phones
- Greeting visitors at the door
- Supporting basic office communication
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented
- Reliable with consistent attendance
- Comfortable learning scheduling software
- Able to manage multiple tasks throughout the day
- Calm problem‑solver when schedules change
- Medical or home care offices
- Administrative support roles
- Scheduling or staffing coordination
- Dispatch or logistics coordination
- Customer service roles involving organization
As the role develops and the individual becomes established in scheduling operations, performance incentives and bonus opportunities may be introduced based on operational performance and company growth.
