37.5 Hours Per week, Monday to Friday

Up to £24,000

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Void Maintenance Officer to manage and protect unoccupied Service Family Accommodation (SFA). In this mobile role you’ll ensure empty properties remain secure, compliant, and in excellent condition, ready for the next family who needs them. You’ll work independently with support from the Delivery Manager, carrying out regular inspections, managing reactive maintenance needs, and providing essential reports that keep our operations running smoothly.

• Manage all SFA properties within your Void Maintenance area.
• Complete detailed site survey reports, record defects, produce rough scopes of work, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate security measures to keep properties weatherproof and vandalism‑free.
• Maintain heating and water systems to prevent deterioration and ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory requirements.
• Submit regular weekly and monthly reports to your line manager and ensure utilities information is passed to the Utilities team.
• Collaborate with VIVO, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), Pinnacle and supply chain partners to deliver the highest standards.

• Experience in a role where performance is closely measured and a background in service delivery.
• Self‑motivated, capable of working independently, and confident using Microsoft Office, tablets and other digital devices.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Beneficial: experience in VOID property repairs and maintenance, knowledge of MOD environments, asbestos regulations, disability access requirements or energy performance standards.
