Personal Assistant CILR

Overview

The Role:

To support a 62-year-old to help live life the way the client chooses. The job involves assistance with a variety of tasks as the day varies. The client uses a manual wheelchair and may need to be pushed outside the house; when going out, the wheelchair may need to be put in and taken out of the car.

• Support with rehabilitation
• Assistance with setting up shower equipment

• Assist preparing and cooking food / enabling the client to make meals
• Washing dishes and general cleaning of the kitchen
• Laundry and ironing
• Bedmaking
• General cleaning and tidying of the house
• Assistance with shopping
• Checking and emptying rubbish and recycling bins

• Assistance to access hobbies such as crystals and art
• Assistance to purchase art materials
• Assistance to access local facilities
• Assistance to access the community

• Assistance with light gardening
• Driving

• Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
• Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
• Respectful of dignity and independence
• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual, reliable and flexible
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Understanding, adaptable and organised
• Car owner with driving licence, use of own vehicle required, and business insurance essential

You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsor ships are available.

Hours:

3 hours on a Wednesday – 09:00–12:00 and 2 hours on a Saturday to be discussed (can be flexible around these hours).

Pay: £14.00 per hour
