Personal Assistant CILR

Overview

To support a 62-year-old to help me live my life the way I choose. The job involves assistance with a variety of tasks as my day varies. I use a manual wheelchair and need to be pushed in my wheelchair outside of the house and if going out the wheelchair will need to be put in and taken out of the car.

• Support with rehabilitation
• Assistance with setting up shower equipment
• Assist preparing and cooking food/ enabling me to make meals.
• Washing dishes and general cleaning of kitchen
• Laundry and ironing
• Bedmaking
• General cleaning and tidying of house
• Assistance with shopping
• Checking and emptying rubbish and recycling bins
• Assistance to access hobbies such as my interest in crystals and art
• Assistance to purchase art materials
• Assistance to access local facilities
• Assistance to access the community

• Car owner with driving licence, use of own vehicle required, and business insurance essential
