About Us

Personalised Learning Dorset is a dedicated mentoring and re-engagement service supporting young people in Dorset, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Wiltshire. We work with young people in their homes and communities as well as at our modern, purpose built Blandford Hub in order to give them the confidence and skills to take the next step in their educational journey.

As part of our constantly evolving service PLD are seeking to employ at least one more Learning Assistant to work alongside the existing staff team at The Hub in Blandford Forum. We want to hear from skilled and enthusiastic practitioners who can deliver high quality interventions for the young people we support. Are you a collaborative, resourceful professional with a proven track record of working as part of a team to support young people with SEN and SEMH needs?

If so, we would love to hear from you.

This role would be ideally suited for those with a teaching assistant or support worker background who may be looking to apply their skills in a new setting. You must be a confident practitioner and be comfortable working on either a 1:1 basis or as a small group leader.

We are also keen to hear from applicants who may have a background in Early Years.
