Overview

We are seeking to recruit 1 Full Time - Clinical Fellow in Simulation or in Peri-Operative Medicine in Anaesthetics & ICM for a 12 month contract.

This post is designed to support the Department and Trust and progress our programmes. It will be ideal for trainees completing Core Training and looking for additional experience in obstetrics and ICU, counted as a CT3 ‘top-up’ year.

• Daytime and night time cover of the Intensive Care Department.
• Fully participate in the general running of anaesthetic services, including a sessional commitment to Intensive Care.
• Support the Department and Trust, progress the programmes and serve all surgical specialities excluding cardiac and neurosurgery.

• 2 years postgraduate experience in anaesthesia is required.
• Full registration with the GMC is essential.
• GMC full registration essential.
• CT3 ‘top-up’ year desired; obstetric anaesthetics competency (IAOC) desirable but not necessary.
• Successful candidates will be appointed at ST3+ level according to their previous experience and competence.

Daytime and night cover in Intensive Care, educational supervision, study time and funding available.
