Overview

At Cross Reach, our Housekeepers play an important role in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for the people we support. This role is ideal if you take pride in high standards, enjoy practical work and want to be part of a caring and supportive team. Your work will help ensure our service feels like home.

What Your Role Will Involve
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across bedrooms, communal areas and facilities
  • Following cleaning schedules, infection control and health and safety procedures
  • Using cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
  • Supporting laundry duties where required
  • Reporting maintenance or health and safety concerns promptly
  • Working respectfully around residents, visitors and colleagues
About You

You are reliable, organised and take pride in your work, with a good eye for detail and cleanliness. Experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided. You understand the importance of hygiene, confidentiality and working respectfully in a care setting, and you are comfortable working as part of a team. You will be willing to join the PVG Scheme and work in line with the values and ethos of Cross Reach.
