The Role:
As a Trainee CABAS Teacher, you will work closely with experienced teachers and therapists, learning to design and implement individualised educational programs for pupils with complex learning needs, primarily those on the autism spectrum. Your responsibilities will include:
About You:
- Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN, in settings such as schools, care, or voluntary roles.
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (crucial for commuting).
- A genuine passion for working with children with complex learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and embrace new teaching methodologies.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Minimum of A-C GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
