Step Into Teaching is supporting a fantastic school in the Dorking area (RH5) to recruit Graduate Learning Support Assistants to join their team. This is a great opportunity at a supportive school, offering real progression and stability.
The school offers specialist education with integrated therapeutic support for students aged 7–19 with a range of special educational needs — including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and social communication or anxiety‑related difficulties.

Within this role, you’ll support pupils in accessing the curriculum, developing social skills, and overcoming barriers to learning. You’ll play a key part in fostering a respectful, positive, and person‑centred classroom culture.
We’re looking for someone who is:- A recent graduate (degree 2:2 or above)
- Supportive, empathetic, and approachable
- Resilient, reflective, and motivated to make a difference
- Committed to working in education long‑term
- Interested in SEN, mental health, and inclusive learning
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential – the school provides training and values a proactive, team‑focused attitude.
