The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality support to our students. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering dynamic and engaging lessons.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to student needs.
  • Monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
  • Cultivate a safe, supportive, and positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate effectively with a talented and passionate teaching team.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and their families.
  • Contribute to our positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential.
  • Experience supporting students with SEN is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Experience & Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
