Overview

Teaching Personnel is delighted to offer exciting full-time opportunities for qualified EYFS Teachers in Dorchester, working with a range of friendly and supportive primary schools and early years settings in the local area. MULTIPLE ROLES ACROSS DORCHESTER – We’ll work together to find the best fit for you! As an EYFS Teacher, you will take on full class teacher responsibilities and play a vital role in shaping children’s early learning experiences.

You’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons while supporting pupils during their most important developmental years. Starting school can feel overwhelming for little ones—be the calm, reassuring presence who helps them feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining accurate records
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and learning
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support holistic development
Desirable Experience
  • Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with experience in EYFS
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Experience with PECS or Makaton is advantageous
  • Experience working with children with SEN requirements
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
