About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Health & Safety Assistant to provide essential administrative, audit and project support to a busy Health & Safety team. This role plays a key part in helping the organisation meet its legal responsibilities and maintain effective health & safety systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who is looking to develop further within the Health & Safety field.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a wide range of administrative support including minute-taking, diary management, document production and data handling.
- Act as a first point of contact for the department, offering guidance on established H&S procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and manage information in line with policies.
- Assist with producing quarterly and annual H&S performance reports, including collating data for national returns.
- Support processes for reporting accidents and incidents.
- Update departmental systems (including risk assessments, databases, KPIs, and web content).
- Purchase safety equipment and manage purchase orders.
