Waste Pro has immediate openings for energetic CDL drivers. Waste Pro rolls thousands of trucks daily to serve millions of customers. This role requires professional, experienced, hardworking, and dedicated individuals who will work with the team to operate some of the finest trucks built.
Waste Pro offers a driver award program. If you meet the criteria, you can qualify for the award program every 3 years.
Responsibilities- Roll-off drivers are responsible for the delivery and emptying of large containers for Waste Pro's commercial customers.
- Secure containers by attaching the hook to the container; use control levers to pull the container onto the bed of the truck, secure straps, and tarp containers as necessary.
- Provide a differentiable level of courteous and expeditious customer service in all aspects of refuse operation.
- Answer questions for customers and direct them to Customer Service or Sales for additional information.
- Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections as set forth by Waste Pro procedures and DOT guidelines; complete Safety Lane activity and DVIR daily per safety lane guidelines.
- Maintain a clean truck; wash exterior weekly and inspect under the hood, undercarriage, and tires; check fluid levels and air tires.
- Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works; requires a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices; understanding of DOT and state requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
- Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction; see in the normal visual range with or without correction.
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions; maintain written records and service responses.
- Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, coworkers, dispatch, and supervisors; understand highway and traffic signals; make legible entries on paperwork.

- Attend and participate in corporation-sponsored training courses as assigned.
- Keep up to date on current technology as applicable to Waste Pro.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor.
