Phlebotomist

Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

• High level of customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills and grow within the role.
• Ability to handle patients with care, compassion, and professionalism.
• Strong attention to confidentiality and patient information accuracy.
• Keyboarding and data entry skills.

• Client-facing customer service experience required (retail, healthcare support, or similar).
• Prior phlebotomy experience not required.

• Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in using self-service kiosks or handheld devices.
• Answer patient questions and explain procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Maintain the integrity and organization of the waiting area.
• Assist with coverage during breaks when needed.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Support daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of a supervisor.
• Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Learn and perform phlebotomy and specimen processing duties once trained, following established procedures.
