Automotive Accounting Biller

Multi-Franchise dealer looking for an experienced Full-time Automotive Billing Clerk.

Description:

Family-owned Franchise dealer seeking an experienced Automotive Biller. This dependable individual to handle the daily billing tasks timely and accurately. The ideal candidate must have excellent people and communication skills and be able to multi-task.

• Verify all documents are complete, signed and compliant.
• Pull, prepare contract documents to be mailed out for funding.
• Post sales, profit and commissions into dealer's accounting system Reynolds & Reynolds.
• Keep accurate excel logs.
• Issue lien payoff checks.
• Reconcile all general ledger postings and schedules for accuracy.
• Assist with month end closing deadlines.
• Call and follow up on awaiting titles needed from lenders.
• Assist with stocking in of new and used vehicle inventory.
• Various tasks to assist the accounting office activities in support of the other Sales oriented departments of the dealership.
• Able to research and/or resolve any issues that may arise.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Back up other accounting areas needed.

• Must have minimum 3 years of experience working in an automotive accounting office.
• Understanding of the automotive environment and work well with other employees.
• Must have a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow a process, follow instructions, and multitask.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds DMS System preferred.
• Ability to create any Microsoft Office Documents.
