the role

We are looking for hands‑on problem‑solvers to join our dynamic team of skilled mechanical and electrical engineers, keeping our fleet moving safely and efficiently every day. What you’ll be doing
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults, service and replace parts as needed
  • Identify issues accurately and recommend the correct method of repair and required parts
  • Perform routine inspections and service using handheld data capture devices (where applicable)
  • Attend roadside breakdowns and support vehicle recoveries
  • Road‑test vehicles to confirm issues or check work after repairs

Working shift

5 days in, 2 days off; rotations: 06:00 – 14:00 & 14:00 – 22:00

About you
  • A Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification as a mechanic and experience working on HGV, bus or coach
  • A flexible approach to working hours
  • A PCV licence is desirable; ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this)
  • A valid UK driver’s licence
  • Experience of working with buses & coaches would be an advantage, but any vehicle mechanic experience will be considered (HGV)
  • Vehicle / auto‑electrical experience / knowledge
