An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to join a leading bulk terminal operation based in Barton upon Humber.
The Electrical Technician will work on large scale plant machinery and ship loading equipment within a busy port environment, supporting the maintenance of critical infrastructure used to handle bulk materials.

The Role of the Electrical Technician
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems across heavy industrial plant and ship loading equipment.
The Electrical Technician will carry out planned maintenance and reactive fault finding to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Technician
- Electrical maintenance on heavy industrial plant and machinery
- Fault finding and repair on industrial electrical systems
- Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown response
- Working on ship loading equipment and bulk handling systems
- Ensuring equipment is safely isolated before maintenance work
- Completing maintenance reports and job records
- Working within permit to work systems and health and safety procedures
Requirements of the Electrical Technician
- Apprentice Trained Electrician
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Strong electrical fault finding experience
- Experience maintaining plant machinery or ship equipment
- Experience working in heavy industrial environment
- Bulk handling or terminal experience (desired)
- Understanding of permit to work and health and safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence
