Casual Merchandiser - Doncaster / Preston

John Sands is a wholly owned subsidiary of American Greetings Corporation. Together with UK Greetings we form the largest privately listed greeting card and social expression group in the world.

We are currently looking to fill one casual position in Doncaster/Preston. The role is for approx.
10 hours per week, usually on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays.

As a Merchandiser you will work to a pre‑determined weekly time schedule to ensure accounts are fully stocked to maximise sales, identify sales opportunities and place re‑orders for product. From time to time you will be required to assist at a store revamp which includes working with a team and assisting with planograms during peak season times.

• Self‑motivators with the ability to work autonomously
• Strong 'people' skills with the ability to build & maintain rapport with others
• Basic/Intermediate computer skills with daily access to a computer and the internet
• A positive attitude & pride in your work
• A reasonable level of physical fitness to perform manual work efficiently and within allocated time
• Hold a current driver’s licence and reliable motor vehicle
• Whilst previous experience as a Merchandiser is advantageous, it is not mandatory as full training will be provided for the right person
