Plater Welder

Don Valley Engineering is looking for a skilled Plater Welder (plating as the main strength). • From £17.14 per hour (dependent on skills & experience)
• Benefits:
  Pension, 33 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays)
• Reporting to:
  Workshop Manager & Fabrication Foreman

• Welding plate and structural components to high quality standards
• Carrying out skilled plating, fabrication, and welding tasks including inspection and preparation
• Operating manual and automated welding equipment
• Cutting and preparing metal components based on detailed drawings
• Ensuring all assembly components are in place and meet safety and quality standards
• Inspecting and diagnosing issues as required

• Time‑served apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and time‑management skills
• A positive, proactive attitude and pride in your work
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Ability to work effectively in a small, fast‑paced, cross‑functional team
