Packer, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Overview

We are recruiting a reliable packer to join a busy production team. The role involves preparing and packing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality, and working safely to meet daily targets. This is a hands-on position suited to practical, hardworking individuals.

• Accurately pick and pack products to order specifications
• Check items for quality, correct quantities and proper labelling
• Securely pack products to prevent damage in transit
• Follow packing specifications, health & safety and quality procedures
• Maintain a clean, organised work area and report any issues to supervisors
• Work efficiently to meet productivity targets and deadlines

• Proven experience in packing or similar warehouse roles
• Competent in safe manual handling techniques and comfortable performing routine lifting and carrying tasks
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Basic numeracy and ability to follow written instructions
• Willingness to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings or weekends if required

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20kg safely (adjustments considered where reasonable)
