Job Title:
Day Shift Supervisor

Location: Doncaster
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day (Day Shift)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:
We are recruiting for a hands-on Day Shift Supervisor to join a busy industrial processing facility in Doncaster. You will oversee daily operations, support the site team, and ensure production targets and safe working practices are maintained throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of operatives and machinery operators

• Manage daily workflow and production targets

• Maintain strict health & safety standards on-site

• Carry out shift handovers and toolbox talks

• Complete basic reporting and operational paperwork

• Communicate with senior management regarding staffing and performance

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team-leading role (industrial, manufacturing, waste, aggregates, logistics, or similar environments considered)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Good understanding of safe working practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, manual environment

• Proactive and organised approach to managing people and workloads

Desirable:

• Experience in heavy plant or industrial settings beneficial

• FLT or plant licences advantageous (not essential)
