We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who has knowledge or experience in applying whole systems approaches. Our Senior Partnerships Manager leads on driving strategic change and transformation through our current and emerging partnerships, to improve public health and wellbeing of our population through movement, physical activity and sport.

Our Senior Partnerships Manager will have knowledge and understanding of leadership, learning and development within the context of whole systems approaches, and will lead on developing GDM's leadership, learning and development approach.
We have a close partnership with Sport England, and our work is recognised locally, regionally, nationally and internationally as a leader in whole system approaches through movement, physical activity and sport.
A key theme of the team led by this role is sharing our learning and supporting Sport England to disseminate understanding of whole system approaches as well as independently supporting organisations and local authorities across England and wider to support their development in the sector. We are looking for someone with excellent leadership skills who can represent GDM by sharing learning and demonstrating impact across these levels.
Our Senior Partnerships Manager will have knowledge and expertise of leading and embedding methods that will help us to understand, explain and share what is happening as a result of our work with a variety of audiences. They will have the ability to use these findings, alongside additional data, evidence and insight, to inform and influence strategic and operational decision-making of the GDM Team, City of Doncaster Council and wider local, regional and national partners to enable delivery of high-quality, innovative and sustainable approaches to reducing physical inactivity.
Complementary to this, they will have responsibility for ensuring that we fulfil our monitoring, evaluation and learning obligations to The City of Doncaster Council and Sport England.
Key to the role will be the ability to grapple with and makes sense of complex issues and translate this to support and lead complex and multi-disciplinary teams on major strategic issues and programmes to deliver the strategic priorities of the GDM Strategy. To deliver this the post holder will need to show experience of working and leading teams alongside Sport England, Regional and National agencies across the wider sector enabling growth in the teams and individuals.
The successful candidate will be expected to work flexibly to provide support across our existing themed areas work, while also leading on new opportunities and themes where they emerge; to develop sustainable and innovative physical activity approaches to improve health outcomes in communities through and evidence led approach that maintains and develops our strategic partnerships.
