We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join an industry-leading groundworks contractor on a long-term commercial project based in Doncaster.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to progress their career, with a clear route into a Project Manager position as the project and business develop.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Supporting the Project Manager in the delivery of commercial groundworks packages

* Assisting with planning, programming, and coordination of site activities

* Managing subcontractors and liaising with site teams

* Monitoring progress against programme and budgets

* Supporting health & safety and quality control on site

* Assisting with client and consultant coordination

Requirements:

* Previous experience in an Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer / Site Engineer role

* Groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) background preferred

* Experience working on commercial projects

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Ambition to progress into a Project Manager role

* SMSTS / CSCS (preferred but not essential depending on experience)
