Overview
Surgical Assessment Ward - Rapid assessment and initial management of acute surgical cases, supporting timely diagnostics, decisions, and safe admission or discharge.
Responsibilities- The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a consistently high standard of care, demonstrating a kind and compassionate attitude towards patients, relatives and colleagues.
- The postholder must demonstrate clinical expertise in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of care using a holistic, person-centred approach.
- The post holder must possess fundamental management and facilitation skills to promote multi-disciplinary team working and foster a supportive, learning environment.
- As a registered nurse the post holder is expected to consistently act in accordance with the NMC Code.
