Join our dedicated team as a Senior Respite Support Worker, managing the day-to-day operations of Eden Lodge and Wickett Hern Rd. This role is crucial in providing high-quality short-stay services that meet Care Quality Commission standards. We are seeking a calm, resourceful, and energetic individual with a passion for person-centred care, supporting individuals with dignity, choice, and independence.

• Oversee daily care and support, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and comfort.
• Implement person-centred support plans to help individuals make informed choices.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed for adults at risk.
• Participate in handovers, meetings, and reviews; supervise and mentor staff.
• Support individuals with daily living needs including personal care, nutrition, and social activities.
• Encourage independence through leisure and community activities.
• Manage staff schedules and maintain service standards.
• Take overall responsibility for the service in the absence of the Registered Manager.

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (Level 4 desirable).
• Experience in health & social care, particularly with learning disabilities/ADHD.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, medication processes, and care planning.
• Ability to work under pressure, lone work, and use IT systems.
• Strong communication and team-working skills.
• Desirable:
  Experience with dementia, challenging behaviours, and positive behaviour support. Knowledge of national health and social care strategies.
