Location: Armthorpe
Personal Assistant (PA)/Support Worker
Job : PUR-065-529
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Posts available: 19 hours per week and 16 hours per week
Hours and schedule: Over 3 days – Tuesdays and Thursdays daytime, and either Fridays or Saturdays evening (details to be discussed). Additional night cover may be available and will be discussed at interview.
Location: Armthorpe (DN3)
DBS check confirmed; right to work and references required.
Responsibilities- Support the client to get out and about for socialisation.
- Transport the client – push manual wheelchair when the electric wheelchair is not suitable.
- Assist with transfers in and out of cars.
- Engage the client in conversation during outings.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Owns a car and holds a valid driving licence.
- Physically able to assist with wheelchair and car transfers.
- Willingness to engage and converse with the client.
- Candidate of a similar age preferred.
