We are inviting applications from enthusiastic, driven individuals to join our Haematology teams at the Doncaster site.

Main duties of the jobThe post holder will act as an HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist providing scientific services to patients as an aid to clinical diagnosis. The successful candidate will be required and undertake a wide range of complex analytical procedures, performing a range of manual, semi-automated and automated tests using scientific knowledge and experience to comment upon and validate results in line with ISO 15189.
Suitable candidates will require Haematology experience and be nearing completion of their registration portfolio and ideally have experience of working out of hours.
Please also note this vacancy is banded dependent upon applicants experience relevant to this post. The banding of the successful applicant will start at Band 5 unless applicants meet the necessary threshold of skills and experience required to start on Band 6.
