Health And Safety Advisor

We are looking for a motivated Health and Safety Adviser to join a busy operational site on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-to-junior level professional to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic environment, supporting health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of health and safety policies and procedures on site
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend improvements
• Support incident reporting, investigation, and follow‑up actions
• Promote a positive health and safety culture among staff
• Maintain records, documentation, and reporting in line with legal and company requirements
• Provide advice and guidance to management and site teams on HSE matters

• Relevant Health and Safety qualification (NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent)
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar operational or industrial setting
• Good understanding of UK HSE legislation and best practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, practical, and hands‑on approach to health and safety
