We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Medicines Optimisation professional to join our client's team in Doncaster. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, focusing on optimising the use of medicines to improve patient outcomes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medications within the healthcare setting.
ResponsibilitiesThe Pharmacy Medicines Optimisation professional will be responsible for a range of tasks, including conducting medication reviews, providing expert advice on the use of medicines, and developing and implementing medicines optimisation strategies. The role involves working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Duties include monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of medication regimens, providing education and training to staff, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualificationsand Experience
- Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of medicines optimisation principles
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
